I was approached by Henrik from Talk to create a fast pased explainer that would help sell and launch their start-up Talk.onl - an online platform where you can consult with live with hand picked experts in fields of tech and business growth.

The process
We started out with a rough script from Henrik at Talk that we reworked togheter to better fit a streamlined story. Focusing on the essentials we managed to get it under 60 seconds as targetet. After the script was set, I collected some reference images from the Talk site as well as some inspirational pictures to highlight the direction we wanted to go. I also picked out 3 different songs for Henrik and his team to decide between and approve and put togheter a simpe production plan with to-do’s and deadlines.

Design phase
After deciding on the over all direction and which elements of their design to focus on, I started designing all the key frames of the animation as stills to get a final approval. We pretty much got it right the first time around with just some minor tweaks for version 2. Since we had the music picked out and approved beforhand I could really focus on timing the animation and music together as much as possible. This really helps the overall feel and tempo.
